The BMW i3 WindMill is a limited edition reserved for the French market. It includes nearly 7,000 euros of optional equipment and a customer benefit of more than 4,000 euros.

BMW doesn’t forget its i3 with a new WindMill limited edition. Reserved for the French network, it retains its lightweight design ( CFRP structure ) and eco-responsible (plant fiber interior materials), even taking into account its design, its production, its supply but also its recycling.

BMW i3: Evolving Since 2013

Produced since 2013, the BMW i3 remains in the game while the BMW i8 (launched in 2014) has just bowed out (read also:  End of clap for the BMW i8 ). It has benefited from an enhancement of its entry-level equipment with the integration of the iLife finish including an armrest, automatic air conditioning, a rain detector and automatic headlight switching, and cruise control, among others. Better equipped, the brand’s electric compact is more consistent with the competition’s new models.

Prices for the BMW i3 WindMill

Based on this entry-level finish, the BMW i3 WindMill also offers a decoration reminiscent of the wind turbines which supply electricity to the BMW factory in Leipzig in charge of production of the model. It comes with 3,500 euros of equipment including heated front seats, comfort access with keyless start, the Professional navigation system, and all the aids included in the Advanced Parking pack: reversing camera, front parking sensors, and rear, Park Assist.

BMW i3 WindMill: Affordable Luxury and Efficiency

By adding the iLife extra equipment and the elements mentioned above, we arrive at 7,000 euros of equipment added to the model. On sale, we still obtain an advantage of 4,000 euros, which allows the BMW i3 WindMill to be displayed at 295 euros per month with the warranty extension by taking out a 36-month LLD contract for 30,000 kilometers and a first rent of 3,100 euros. You can also opt for this special edition on the 184 horsepower BMW i3s, bringing the customer benefit to 3,180 euros.

These developments in the BMW i3 allow it to hold its own in the increasingly competitive environment while waiting for a new i3 to be announced. For the moment, 2018 and 2019 have concentrated 50% of the model’s sales in France. For the moment, the BMW i4 (read also: BMW Concept i4 ) will be the next to arrive in the BMW I range.
