The latest addition to the range of ECU remaps from global leader Superchips, has been developed to give owners of two versions of the latest Bosch Engine Management systems a significant increase in performance from engine tuning and remapping.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine in the Mk6 Polo GTi leaves the VW factory with a manufacturer quoted 200PS. The car uses the latest Bosch MG1 turbo petrol engine management system. Through careful development and testing, the Superchips remap increases this by an impressive 49bhp at 3829rpm and a remarkable 112Nm torque at 2846rpm.
These gains offer drivers the best of both worlds; improved day to day driveability thanks to the increase in torque at low engine revs, combined with gains in power at higher engine speeds, delivering greater acceleration for more rewarding driving and safer overtaking.
The full power and torque curves can be seen on the website listing for this car http://bit.ly/SC-Polo6GTI
A remap is now also available for the latest Bosch MD1 turbo diesel engine management system, fitted in the Audi A6 and A7 with 3.0 TDI 218PS engines. The Superchips remap removes artificial restrictions imposed on this low output version of the engine, to increase output by a useful 64bhp at 3874rpm and a remarkable 122Nm torque at 2982rpm.
Specific information about this conversion can be found on the Superchips website here http://bit.ly/SC-A6218PSMD1
Both conversions are carried out by one of Superchips worldwide dealer network and typically takes less than 90 minutes, as the process interfaces directly with the car’s ECU. Customers can either wait at the dealer or drop off their car and return later to collect.
The RRP of the conversion is £399 (including VAT) for both vehicles. Both remaps are covered by Superchips’ industry-leading 12-month/30,000-mile warranty*.

Does the development with Bosch ECU’s apply to Audi A5 35 TFSI (2litre 150 bhp engine).
Yes Geoffrey, it does. What we need now is an example of this vehicle to visit our HQ. You can contact us via the form on our website or over the phone (01280 816781) and we can then create a remap for this variant.
