Dyno testing has proven that the Superchips ECU remap for the 2.0-litre Ford Ecoboost models of the Galaxy, Mondeo and S-Max results in a maximum power gain of 40 bhp at 5648 rpm, with performance increases seen from 1500 rpm to the rev limiter.
Similarly, the Superchips remap significantly boosts peaks torque, which jumps by 67 Nm at just 2065 rpm. In combination with the healthy power increase, the Superchips Bluefin remap transforms the response, overtaking ability and overall pace of these 203PS Ford 2.0-litre Ecoboost models, bringing them alive and offering an enhanced driving experience at minimal cost.
Superchips has placed great emphasis on retaining fuel efficiency on the 203 PS 2.0-litre Ecoboost Galaxy, Mondeo and S-Max, so despite the performance increase produced by the upgrade, if a Superchips remapped car is driven in a ‘like for like’ manner, fuel consumption will not be adversely affected.

As part of this process, the original factory Ford 2.0-litre Ecoboost ECU map settings are stored within the Bluefin handset for future use, which means reversing the car back to standard is an easy ‘Plug-in and go’ task.
