The 3.0-litre TDI, 204PS Audi A7 is a great car as standard but the technical wizards at Superchips have now created an affordable way of making it even better, thanks to a new performance boosting ECU remap.
Superchips’ technicians have carefully analysed the parameters within the Audi’s Bosch EDC17 engine management system and have developed a revised ECU remap that greatly increases the 3.0-litre TDI’s power and torque output, without sacrificing reliability, refinement or fuel economy.
Post conversion, the Superchips equipped A7 3.0-litre TDI produces and extra 49bhp at 3023rpm, allied to an additional 117Nm of torque at just 2964rpm, making the Audi easier, swifter and more exciting to drive.
The Superchips ECU remap also delivers more response and refinement and up to 7% better fuel economy than standard, the latter being partly due to the increased level of low rev torque being available to the Audi A7′s driver.
